Privacy policy

Tamil Hymns is a free, independent project designed and built by Lokesh Richards (Malaysia). This policy covers every version: the website (sdahymn.app) and the Microsoft Store and Google Play apps.

We never ask for your name, email or other personal details. There are no accounts and no ads. To understand how many people use the app, which pages and songs they open, what they search for and from which countries, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies, and Google processes data such as the pages viewed, device type and approximate location (country / city). We do not use it to identify you and never sell it. You can block it in your browser settings.

Favourites, recent songs, this week's songs and display settings are stored only on your device.

If you use "My location" for Sabbath times, your location is worked out and kept on your device. It is never sent to us.

To receive new or corrected songs, the app downloads the song list from our server. Nothing about you is sent with it. Like any website, our host Cloudflare may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time for security.

What you write in the feedback form (and your name and email, if you give them) is emailed only to us and used only to reply to you. Cloudflare Turnstile is used to block spam.

If you turn on the daily prayer reminder, we store only your browser's notification address, your time zone and the time you chose — no name, email or location. Turning the reminder off deletes them. A calendar reminder lives only in your own calendar.

Tamil Hymns is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Tamil Hymns

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. For questions, use the feedback form in the app.
